Color Fastness Tester

The JIS Crockmeter is a precision laboratory instrument designed according to the Japanese Industrial Standards for textile colorfastness testing, specifically the “Colorfastness to Rubbing” method (JIS L0849). It evaluates the rubbing and abrasion resistance of dyed textile products. By exchanging optional accessories, the instrument can also test flocked fabrics, artificial leather, printed paper, inks, coatings, and other materials, making it a versatile solution for multiple material types.

Application

This tester is suitable for assessing rubbing and abrasion fastness in:

(1) Dyed textiles and fiber products;

(2) Flocked fabrics for evaluating flock adhesion strength;

(3) Artificial leather for color transfer and rubbing resistance;
