Introduction
The CCS Tester G-1402 Apparent Viscosity Measurement Instrument features an integrated design combining both measurement and refrigeration systems, a global first. The instrument is compact and lightweight, with excellent performance. It is a fully automatic instrument integrating rotational speed measurement, constant calculation, and viscosity testing.
All technical specifications are manufactured in accordance with GB/T 6538-2022 and ASTM D5293 standards. The instrument is suitable for measuring the apparent viscosity of engine oils under shear stress of approximately 50,000–100,000 Pa, shear rates of 10⁵–10⁴ s⁻¹, at temperatures from -5°C to -40°C, with a viscosity measurement range of 1,200–35,000 mPa·s.
The instrument uses imported components for key parts, a precision intelligent temperature controller for temperature regulation, and a color LCD microcontroller to control the experimental process.

Instrument Overview
The instrument is equipped with a PLC programmable controller that automatically performs detection, calculation, and control, requiring no manual intervention throughout the entire testing process. It comes with imported standard oil and features an imported motor to drive the hard-shaft rotor.
A 10-channel rotary automatic sampling system enables automatic sample loading and cleaning, allowing the system to operate unattended. The instrument uses a semiconductor refrigeration system to automatically control both the sample temperature and the cold bath temperature.
All experimental data are automatically saved and can be automatically printed, and the instrument supports connection to LIMS systems for seamless data transfer.
