Introduction

A Constant Elongation Stress Meter is a specialized testing device designed to measure the stress relaxation behavior of materials under a constant elongation. Essentially, it stretches a material sample (like rubber, elastomers, or polymers) to a predetermined length and monitors how the internal stress decreases over time.

Standard

constant tensile stress meter conforms to the standard GB/T 21461.2-2008 Plastic ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW) molding and extrusion materials Part 2: specimen preparation and performance determination, I SO11542-2: 1998.

Usage

Constant tensile stress meter is an instrument to determine the tensile stress of molded plastic materials. It is also a kind of instrument used to characterize the index of PE-UHMW viscosity properties.

Technical parameters

1、 weight quality: 80g, 100g, 120g, 150g, 180g, 200g, 225g, 250g, 275g, 300g, 325g, 350g, 40 0g, 500g, 600g, 700g, 800g (can be increased according to user requirements)

2、Timing accuracy: 0.1 seconds

3、Extension measurement: 90mm

4、Temperature range: room temperature – 150 ℃ (according to user requirements)

5、Heating medium: phenylmethyl silicone oil

6、Sample size: dumbbell type 50*4

7、Voltage:220V 50Hz

8、Power: 6.3KW

Features

1、This tester adopts single-chip microprocessor and temperature control module as the main control unit, featuring stable use and reliable action.

2、Lifting control is controlled by metal proximity switch, and the main transmission part is precision ball screw.

3、Measurement of stretching length adopts photoelectric sensor to sense the signal.

4、The design of brake adopts the downward sliding structure without lateral movement, and the electric control opens automatically. The front and back of the thermostatic oil bath are equipped with high temperature resistant tempered glass to increase the observability of the test.

5. The operation terminal (computer) is installed with Windows system and the software used in this test, and the user does not need to install it again. The role of the base is specially designed for this test machine, the user in addition to its use as the base of the instrument, but also can be used as a storage cabinet for accessories.

Accessories

A complete constant elongation stress meter usually comes with the following accessories:

(1)Sample Clamps/Grips – Secure the material at both ends; may include flat or pneumatic grips depending on sample type.

(2)Load Cell / Force Sensor – Measures tensile stress accurately in real time.

(3)Extension Mechanism – Manual or motorized system to elongate the sample to a preset length.

(4)Temperature Control Chamber (Optional) – Allows testing at controlled temperatures (e.g., for rubber or polymer aging studies).

(5)Data Acquisition System – Connected to a computer or built-in display to record stress vs. time data.

(6)Software/Touch Screen Interface – For setting test parameters, monitoring real-time data, and exporting results.

(7)Calibration Weights / Standard Samples – For verifying measurement accuracy.

(8)Protective Safety Guards – Ensures operator safety during testing.
