Due to the high-risk  transportation of the above gases, they cannot be provided as accessories of the  oxygen index tester and can only be purchased by the user at the local gas  station. (To ensure the purity of the gas, please purchase at the local regular  gas station)

30 Maximum power consumption 150W
31 Self-supporting sample clamp Can be fixed at the center of the combustion cylinder and  clamp the sample vertically
32 Non-self-supporting sample clamp Can fix two vertical edges of the sample on the frame at the  same time (optional / applied to soft non-self-supporting materials such as  textiles)

Features

(1) Full-color touchscreen control: Simply set the oxygen concentration value  on the touchscreen, and the program will automatically adjust to the oxygen  concentration balance and emit a beeping sound, eliminating the hassle of  manually adjusting the oxygen concentration;

(2) The use of a stepping proportional valve greatly improves the flow  control accuracy. Closed-loop control ensures that the oxygen concentration  drifts during testing and the program automatically adjusts back to the target  value, avoiding the drawback of traditional oxygen index meters that cannot  adjust the oxygen concentration during testing, thus greatly improving testing  accuracy.

FAQ

What is this product?

The F101M Full Automatic Oxygen Index Tester is a precision instrument used  to determine the minimum oxygen concentration required to sustain combustion of  materials under controlled conditions. It adopts closed-loop oxygen  concentration control and touchscreen automation to ensure stable and repeatable  test results.

What is this product used for?

It is used to evaluate the flammability and combustion behavior of polymer  materials, textiles, building materials, and other combustible products by  measuring their Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI). The results are commonly applied in  material development, quality control, and fire performance assessment.

Why is this product important?

The oxygen index is a key fire safety indicator. Accurate LOI testing helps  manufacturers:

(1) Assess material flame resistance

(2) Verify compliance with fire safety standards

(3) Support R&D of flame-retardant formulations

(4) Improve product safety and reliability

The F101M’s closed-loop control significantly reduces oxygen concentration  drift, improving test accuracy compared with traditional models.

What industries is this product suitable for?

The instrument is suitable for laboratories and quality control departments  in:

(1) Plastics and polymer manufacturing

(2) Textile and nonwoven production

(3) Building and insulation materials

(4) Wire and cable materials

(5) Fire protection products (e.g., fire doors)

(6) Research institutes and third-party testing laboratories

What types of this product are available?

Oxygen index testers are generally available in:

(1) Manual oxygen index testers

(2) Semi-automatic oxygen index testers

(3) Full automatic closed-loop oxygen index testers (such as F101M)

Different configurations may include optional non-self-supporting sample  clamps and different quartz cylinder diameters to suit various material  types.
