FAQ

1. What is this product?

This Pour Point Tester is a fully automatic laboratory instrument designed to determine the pour point and solidifying point of petroleum-based liquids such as transformer oil, diesel oil, lubricating oil, and engine oils.

2. What is this product used for?

It is used to evaluate the low-temperature flow characteristics of oil products by determining the temperature at which the sample ceases to flow. It is widely used for quality control, product evaluation, and research in oil-related industries.

3. What is the working principle of this product?

The instrument cools the sample under controlled conditions using a compressor refrigeration system. During the cooling process, the sample is automatically tilted at programmed intervals. A fiber optic detection system monitors the flow condition of the sample. When no movement is detected, the corresponding temperature is recorded as the pour point or solidifying point. The entire process, including heating, cooling, tilting, detection, and result output, is completed automatically.

4. Why is this product important?

The pour point is a critical parameter for evaluating the usability of oils in low-temperature environments. This instrument provides accurate and repeatable measurements, helping users ensure product performance, optimize formulations, and comply with relevant testing standards.

5. What industries is this product suitable for?

It is suitable for petroleum and petrochemical industries, power generation, lubricant manufacturing, automotive industry, quality inspection institutions, and research laboratories.
