Introduction

The Reciprocating Abraser is designed to evaluate the scratch resistance and wear resistance of coatings, plastics, decorative fabrics, automotive interior materials, cashmere fabrics, and other related products. During testing, the specimen is fixed on a horizontal platform and abraded under specified loads and abrasives as the platform moves back and forth.

Different friction media and interchangeable friction heads enable customized testing according to user requirements and material properties.
