Introduction

Suitcases Vibration Impact Tester is used to test the shock resistance of various luggage handles, car stitches and overall structure. The method is to load the specified load on the object, and do the durability test on the specimen at the speed of 30 times per minute and the amplitude of 5-10cm. The test results can be used as a reference for quality improvement.

Loading the prescribed load in the luggage, lifting the luggage to the prescribed stroke through the handle, the back strap (or the fully opened tie rod), making free falling motion under the action of gravity (the tie rod test adopts uniform motion), and then through the absorption and release of the impact force by the spring, the luggage is subjected to shock and oscillation, so as to test the anti-oscillation impact of the handle, the back strap, the tie rod and the luggage (package). This instrument is suitable for all kinds of bags and suitcases.

Application

The Suitcase Vibration Impact Tester is widely used for safety performance testing of luggage, suitcases, and other similar products, providing reliability testing and product screening capabilities. Testing with this equipment can improve product reliability and facilitate quality control. It is suitable for luggage manufacturers, quality inspection agencies, and various organizations that need to evaluate the performance of luggage.

Features

1. Wide Range of Applications:  Suitable for testing various types of bags (suitcases, backpacks, handbags, etc.), compatible with mainstream bag categories.

2. Comprehensive Testing of Components:  Specifically designed to test the impact resistance and durability of bag handles, straps, pull rods, and the overall bag structure, covering the core stress-bearing parts of the bag.

3. Flexible and Adjustable Parameters: Supports adjustment of parameters such as amplitude (5-10cm) and testing speed (30 cycles/minute), matching the testing needs of different bags.

4. Realistic Testing Scenarios: By simulating the oscillating impact scenarios encountered during actual bag use through “loading with a specified weight + lifting/pulling the component to a preset stroke + free fall under gravity (pull rod moves at a constant speed) + spring absorption and release of impact force,” the results are more relevant and reliable.

Accessoriess

Test Chamber: The main body of the test chamber is typically made of materials such as die-cast aluminum alloy, stainless steel, or cold-rolled steel. The test chamber has internal fixing brackets to secure the test samples.

Vibration System: Used to simulate the vibration experienced by luggage during transportation. The vibration system usually consists of a motor, a reducer, and an eccentric wheel.

Impact System: Used to simulate the impact forces experienced by luggage during transportation. The impact system typically consists of a pneumatic cylinder, an impact table, and an impact head.

Control System: The luggage vibration and impact testing machine is equipped with an advanced control system that allows for setting test parameters and data acquisition. The control system usually consists of a microcomputer, an LCD display, a controller, and sensors.

Safety System: Equipped with various safety protection devices, such as overload protection, power failure protection, and limit protection, to ensure the safety and reliability of the testing process.

FAQ

1. What is a Suitcases Vibration Impact Tester?

The Suitcases Vibration Impact Tester is a device designed to simulate real-world transport conditions, such as vibrations, bumps, and shocks that suitcases experience during handling, shipping, or travel. It evaluates the suitcase’s durability and structural integrity.

2. How does the machine simulate vibration and impact?

The machine uses programmable vibration tables and impact mechanisms to replicate the forces a suitcase undergoes on conveyors, luggage trolleys, or vehicles. Parameters like frequency, amplitude, and impact force can be adjusted to match different scenarios.

3. What types of suitcases can be tested?

It can test hard-shell and soft-shell suitcases, carry-on bags, and large travel luggage of various sizes and materials. Adjustable fixtures ensure secure placement during testing.

4. What parameters are measured during testing?

The tester measures structural damage, wheel and handle durability, zipper and latch integrity, internal component stability, and overall deformation. Advanced models may record real-time vibration data and impacts.

5. Why is vibration and impact testing important for suitcases?

This testing ensures that suitcases can withstand the rigors of transport without breaking, deforming, or compromising contents. It helps manufacturers improve product quality, reduce returns, and enhance customer satisfaction.
