Introduction

I. Instrument Application

Used for various textile products including fibers, yarns, fabrics, nonwovens and their derivatives to determine far infrared properties through temperature rise tests.

II. Test Principle

After irradiating specimens with a constant-intensity far infrared radiation source for specified duration, measure the temperature elevation on the specimen’s test surface.

III. Compliance Standards

GB/T30127 4.2 (Far Infrared Radiation Temperature Rise Test) and other relevant standards.

IV. Technical Parameters

Parameter Item Parameter Value
Specimen Holder 500mm distance from radiation source to specimen surface
Radiation Source Main wavelength 5μm~14μm, radiation power 150W
Specimen Irradiation Area φ60~φ80mm
Temperature Range & Accuracy 15℃~50℃, ±0.1℃ precision, ≤1s response time
Specimen Types Yarns: ≥60mm square metal frame
Fibers: φ60mm×30mm open cylindrical container
Fabrics: φ≥60mm

V. Product Features

Thermal insulation baffle: Front-mounted heat shield improves test accuracy and reproducibility

Fully automatic measurement: Tests initiate automatically when lid is closed

Equipped with Matsushita (Panasonic) power meter for real-time power monitoring

Uses Omega sensors and transmitters

Three specialized specimen holders (yarn/fiber/fabric)

Optical modulation technology eliminates environmental radiation interference
