This test bench is designed for comprehensive evaluation of engine oil filters, including spin-on filters and filter bypass valves. It is suitable for:

Production quality control and factory testing

Research and development of engine oil filters

Verification of filter efficiency, pressure drop, and service life

Testing the performance of bypass elements and blocked filter behavior

The bench measures pressure drop, bypass characteristics, original filtration efficiency, and blocked filter life under controlled flow and temperature conditions.

JB/T 5088.2—2008 – Internal combustion engine spin-on oil filters

Section 6.2: Pressure drop – flow characteristic test

Section 6.3: Filter bypass element characteristic test

Section 6.6: Original filter efficiency test

Section 6.7: Blocked filter service life test

Notes:

Sections 6.2, 6.3, and 6.7 use CC30 diesel engine oil (temperature controlled below 100°C).

Section 6.6 uses 0# diesel or -10# light diesel at room temperature.

Test System: Pressure-drop and flow measurement circuits according to JB/T 5088.2 Figures 1, 2, 3, and 9; includes purification filters and auxiliary oil storage systems.

Purification Filter System: High-capacity filter (β10(c) ≥ 200) ensures clean test medium, stable and repeatable results.

Auxiliary System: Oil storage tank and auxiliary pump for convenient operation.

Piping: Stainless steel tubing, designed to avoid dead zones and sediment accumulation.

Temperature Control System: Heating and radiator units with safety compliance.

Bypass Valve Detection System: Separate measurement line with pressure sensors and display.

Original Filter Efficiency & Service Life System: Includes peristaltic pump, bypass valve, differential pressure sensors, filtration container, and contaminant agitator.

Test Bench Frame: Aluminum alloy profiles and stainless steel panels; reference size 3000 × 1200 × 1900 mm (final dimensions by mutual agreement).
