Coated fabric flexing resistance testing machine
Category:Other
Introduction
This instrument evaluates the flexing resistance of coated fabrics. Fabric strips are wound into cylindrical samples between two rotating cylinders. One cylinder reciprocates along its axis to alternately compress and relax the fabric tube, forming folds. The test continues until the predetermined number of cycles is completed or the sample fails.
This testing simulates repeated bending and folding during practical use, providing critical data for product durability assessment.
Compliance Standards
ISO 7854: Rubber- or plastics-coated fabrics – Determination of resistance to flexing
GB/T 12586-B: Coated fabrics – Flexing test
BS 3424:9: Methods of testing coated fabrics – Flexing
