Product Introduction

The Pipe Drop Hammer Impact Testing Machine (Model G-1) is an automatic instrument designed to evaluate the impact resistance of pipes, hard plastic sheets, profiles, and automotive parts. The machine uses a precision-controlled drop hammer to simulate external impact forces, with intuitive touch screen display of lifting height. It complies fully with the standard ZBN72026 “Technical Conditions of Drop Hammer Impact Testing Machine” and allows accurate and repeatable impact testing across a wide range of materials and pipe types.

Application Scope

Suitable for testing impact resistance of:

PVC-U water pipes, sewage pipes, low-pressure water pipes

Core layer foam pipes, double-wall bellows

PE water pipes, communication pipes

Hard plastic sheets, profiles, and automotive components

Widely used in plastic product manufacturing, pipeline quality control, and material R&D laboratories.

Applicable Standards

ISO 3127: Plastics pipes – Determination of impact resistance

ASTM D2444: Standard Test Method for Impact Resistance of Plastic Pipe and Fittings

DIN-EN 744: Plastics piping systems for water supply

BS-EN 1411: Thermoplastics pipes – Determination of impact strength

Product Advantages

High Precision & Reliability: Uses scratch-resistant steel hammer and imported precision components for durability and accurate impact measurement.

Intelligent Automation: PLC-controlled automatic suction, zeroing, lifting, and drop functions prevent secondary impacts and ensure repeatability.

Real-Time Monitoring: Touchscreen display shows instant impact height, speed, and operational status.

Safety & Convenience: Power failure protection, small footprint, easy installation, and labor-saving operation.

Compliance & Speed: Meets GBT14152-2001 requirements for low-temperature sample testing (0°C, 20 seconds from removal to impact).
