Introduction
The MVSS Flammability Tester is designed to measure the horizontal burn rate of automotive interior materials, including leather, plastics, and textiles, in accordance with U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). The MVSS series includes MVSS-1, MVSS-2, and MVSS-3 models. MVSS-2 meets FMVSS and SAE standards, while MVSS-3 complies with ISO and JIS standards. The instrument features a flame height adjustment device, timed burner ignition, and automatic gas shut-off for controlled testing.
