Test Principle
The Floor Castor Abrasion Tester places the flooring specimen on an 800 mm diameter steel turntable covered with a 7 mm protective plastic layer. Three castors, totaling 90 kg load, press on the specimen while the turntable rotates at 20 rpm and the castors rotate at 50 rpm. The platform pauses for 5 seconds every 180 seconds and then reverses direction. This cycle continues automatically until the preset number of cycles is completed, allowing accurate evaluation of wear resistance.
