Introduction

The Computer-Controlled High-Strength Bolt Tension-Torsion Testing Machine is designed for combined tensile and torsional mechanical performance testing of high-strength bolts. The system integrates the loading system, transmission system, support structure, digital data acquisition and measurement system, and computer-based measurement and control system.

It can be used to determine bolt preload, torsional fracture load, yield axial force, torque, yield torque, maximum torque, torsion angle, and torque coefficient. The system can also generate torque/axial force–torsion angle and torque/axial force–time curves for detailed analysis of bolt tightening and failure behavior.
