Introduction

Transmittance is an important technical parameter for many optical products, such as glass, solar films, and laminated glass. The testing principle of the transmittance meter is to illuminate the tested material with a visible light source. Sensors detect the intensity of the incident light and the light transmitted through the material, and the ratio of transmitted light intensity to incident light intensity is the transmittance, expressed as a percentage. The transmittance meter adopts a parallel optical path design, suitable for testing thick materials, with an accuracy of up to ±1%. The light source complies with the CIE luminous efficiency function standard, ensuring traceability for metrology institute testing.

Maintenance

(1) Keep the light source and sensor clean; wipe with a soft cloth as needed.

(2) Store the instrument in the carrying case when not in use.

(3) Replace batteries promptly when power is low.

(4) Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures during storage.

(5) Periodically verify calibration using a standard reference sample.
