Introduction

The Manual HEPA/ULPA Filter Scanning Test System is designed for quality control and classification of HEPA and ULPA filters. It allows manual scanning of filter elements while performing automated particle measurement. The system generates standard-compliant test reports and documents scanned areas accurately. Its compact design requires minimal laboratory or production floor space.

Applications

(1) Classification of HEPA and ULPA filters.

(2) Filter testing according to ISO 29463 and EN 1822 series standards.

(3) Quality control during production and R&D of high-efficiency filters.

Standards

(1) EN 1822-3 – High-efficiency air filters (HEPA and ULPA) – Part 3.

(2) EN 1822-4 – High-efficiency air filters – Part 4: Test methods for filter elements.

(3) EN 1822-5 – High-efficiency air filters – Part 5: Classification of filters.

(4) ISO 29463-3 – High-efficiency air filters – Part 3: Test methods for filter elements.

(5) ISO 29463-4 – High-efficiency air filters – Part 4: Determination of leakage.

(6) ISO 29463-5 – High-efficiency air filters – Part 5: Classification.

Features

(1) Manual scanning of filter elements combined with automated particle measurement.

(2) Full documentation of scanned areas.

(3) Test report fully compliant with ISO 29463 and EN 1822 standards.

(4) Compact footprint, suitable for limited laboratory or production space.

(5) Flexible for various HEPA and ULPA filter sizes.

Principle

The operator manually scans the HEPA/ULPA filter across its surface while the integrated optical particle counter measures particle penetration. The system records the scanned area and differential pressure, producing a complete efficiency map and standardized test report for classification and quality documentation.
